Yes, we have direct billing arrangements with over 20 major insurance providers in the UAE, including Daman, AXA, Bupa, Cigna, MetLife, Allianz, Oman Insurance, and many others. Our insurance coordination team handles pre-authorization for consultations and procedures. In most cases, you only need to pay your co-payment at the time of your visit. Do I need a referral?
For most services, no referral is needed. You can book directly with us. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for specialist consultations. Our team can help you understand your insurance requirements when you book.
How fast are results?
Most diagnostic imaging results are available within 24 hours. For urgent cases, we can provide same-day results. Reports are sent directly to your referring doctor (if applicable) and can be accessed via our patient portal or WhatsApp.
What languages do you support?
Our team speaks Arabic and English fluently. We also have staff who speak Urdu, Hindi, and other languages to ensure clear communication with all our patients.
How much does a doctor on call cost in Dubai?
A standard GP home visit in Dubai costs from AED 349 at DCDC, which includes a full consultation, physical examination, vital signs check, diagnosis, electronic prescription, and sick leave certificate if needed. The Dubai market range is AED 400-800 for equivalent services from other providers. Additional procedures during the visit (blood collection, injections) are charged separately.
Can a doctor on call prescribe antibiotics at home?
Yes. DHA-licensed doctors can prescribe antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, pain medication, inhalers, anti-nausea medication, and most commonly needed treatments during a home visit. The prescription is sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy for immediate dispensing. Controlled substances follow DHA prescribing regulations and may require a specialist referral.
