What is the difference between a dentist and an orthodontist?
All orthodontists are dentists, but an orthodontist completes several additional years of specialist training to diagnose and correct the alignment of teeth and jaws using braces and aligners. Dr. Firas is a specialist orthodontist.
How are Damon braces different from traditional braces?
Damon braces use self-ligating brackets with a 'trap door' design. The wire clips into place and glides freely underneath, eliminating the elastics and metal ties used in traditional braces — which reduces friction and pressure and improves comfort.
Are Damon braces faster?
